What Parley is

Parley is a macOS desktop app that shows short sales-call cues during live Zoom or Meet calls. Audio is processed to generate cues; we do not operate a call recording library or CRM.

What we capture on your Mac

  • Microphone — your voice during calls.
  • System audio — what you hear from the call (requires Screen Recording permission on macOS).
  • Screen capture — optional screenshot context when you request a cue (not continuous recording).

Product context you enter (what you sell, who you sell to) and your Gemini API key are stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Parley/. The API key is encrypted via macOS Keychain when available.

Gemini (bring your own key)

You provide your own Google Gemini API key. Audio and prompts are sent to Google's API under your key and their terms. Parley does not proxy, store, or train on your call audio on our servers.

Account & billing

Email and subscription status are stored in Supabase to verify your account in the app. Payments are processed by Stripe. We use your email for login, entitlement checks, and support related to your subscription.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use your calls to train Parley models.
  • We do not share call content with third parties except Google Gemini when you use cues (BYOK).
